What We Use Cookies For

AMZSeller uses cookies to run the service: to keep you signed in, to remember basic preferences, to continue a checkout you have started, and to protect the platform from abuse.

We also use Google Ads cookies to measure which of our ads lead to sign-ups and purchases. Where the law requires it, we ask for your permission first. We do not use analytics cookies, we do not use cookies for remarketing or ad personalization, and we do not sell your data.

02

Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for the service to work. Without them you cannot sign in or complete a purchase.

  • amz_access — your signed session token. Set when you sign in, HTTP-only, valid for up to 30 days.
  • amz_refresh — used to renew your session without asking you to sign in again. HTTP-only, valid for up to 180 days.
  • amz_g_state, amz_g_verifier, amz_g_locale, amz_g_invite, amz_g_next — short-lived values that protect the Google Sign-In flow against request forgery and return you to the right page afterwards. HTTP-only, expire after 10 minutes.
  • amz_checkout_intent — remembers the plan you selected so checkout can continue after sign-up or sign-in. HTTP-only, expires after 24 hours.
  • amz_listing_intent — the same mechanism for one-off Listing Builder purchases. HTTP-only, expires after 24 hours.
  • amz_consent — remembers whether you accepted or rejected advertising cookies, so we do not ask again on every page. Shared by amzseller.com and app.amzseller.com, expires after 6 months.
  • amz_cc — your country as detected by our hosting provider, used only to decide whether to ask for cookie consent. Expires after 24 hours.
03

Functional Cookies

  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your interface language so you are not returned to English on every visit. Expires after 1 year.
  • amz_guest — identifies a browser using the free tools without an account, so daily usage limits can be applied fairly. HTTP-only, expires after 90 days.

Your day/night theme preference is not stored in a cookie at all. It is kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent to our servers.

04

Advertising Cookies (Google Ads)

When you arrive from one of our Google ads, Google’s tag stores the ad click so that a later sign-up or purchase can be attributed to that ad. This tells us which ads are worth paying for. It is used for measurement only, not to build advertising profiles or to show you ads elsewhere.

  • _gcl_au, _gcl_aw and related _gcl_ cookies — set by Google Ads on amzseller.com to link an ad click to a later conversion. Expire after 90 days.
  • amz_gads_trial — set for a moment when you start a free trial, so the trial can be reported once. Removed as soon as it is read, and never kept longer than 24 hours.
  • Google may also set or read its own cookies on its domains, such as google.com and doubleclick.net, when a conversion is recorded.

When you complete a purchase, we send Google the order type, the amount (excluding tax), the currency, an order reference, and a one-way hashed (SHA-256) version of the email address you used at checkout. Google uses the hash only to match the purchase to an ad click; it cannot be turned back into your email address. When you start a free trial, we send only an internal reference, with no email address. We never send your name, payment details, or Amazon account data.

Google processes this data under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

05

Security and Bot Protection

Sign-up and sign-in forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which verifies that a request comes from a real browser rather than an automated script. Cloudflare may set its own security cookies as part of this check.

These signals are used only to prevent abuse and attacks. They are not used to profile you or to track you across other websites.

06

Third-Party Cookies

AMZSeller does not use analytics scripts. Cookies other than our own can appear only in these cases:

  • Google Ads — conversion measurement, as described above.
  • Cloudflare — bot protection on authentication forms, as described above.
  • Stripe — when you open the payment or billing pages hosted by Stripe, Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and to run the checkout. This happens on Stripe’s pages and is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
  • Google — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google sets cookies on its own sign-in pages, governed by Google’s privacy policy.
07

Your Choices

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Turkey and Brazil see a consent banner, and advertising cookies stay off until they choose Accept. If you choose Reject, no advertising cookies are set; Google only receives a cookieless signal that a visit or conversion happened, without any identifier that links it to you or to an ad click.

Visitors from other countries have advertising cookies on by default and can turn them off at any time.

  • Use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of any page to change or withdraw your choice. It applies to both amzseller.com and app.amzseller.com.
  • You can also control Google’s ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
  • Essential and functional cookies cannot be switched off from the banner, because the service does not work without them.
  • You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.
  • Blocking or deleting session cookies will sign you out and prevent you from signing back in until they are allowed again.
  • Clearing the language cookie only resets your interface language to the default.

Changes and Contact

If we introduce a new category of cookie or a new use of an existing one, we will update this policy and, where consent is required, ask for it before setting the cookie.
